ABC/Image Group LALongtime Texas musician Aaron Watson has joked that it’s only taken him 18 years, 13 albums, and 2500 shows to land his first top ten country hit, “Outta Style.” But there’s one number he left out: 50 weeks.
That’s how long it took the lead single from Aaron’s Vaquero album to land in the top ten, setting a record for the longest climb on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.
Aaron wraps up his most successful year to date with three sold-out shows at the the oldest dance hall in the Lone Star State. He’ll play Gruene Hall December 21-23, before cranking things up again January 11 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
