“Still the Same”: Sugarland launches their plan of attack for 2018

ABC/Image Group LA 2018 may very well turn out to be the year of Sugarland.

Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush have already visited the top of the iTunes country songs chart with their reunion single, “Still the Same,” and their first major public appearance together is just days away.

“The title of the song is so meaningful to us,” the two said in a newsletter to their fans. “We always knew we were going to make music again, so this has been the best of both worlds. We were able to take time to feed our personal passions, and we’re excited to come back together and create music as a band again.”

On Sunday, Sugarland plays Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest from New York City’s Times Square. You can watch for the five-time CMA Vocal Duo of the Year starting at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.

In the meantime, you can check out a new video for “Still the Same” on YouTube. It mixes archival concert footage with new video of Jennifer and Kristian together in the studio and posing for photos to support their upcoming new album.

In March, Sugarland is set to play the Country to Country festival in the U.K. and Ireland, with a U.S. tour expected to follow.
