RCA NashvilleChris Young loves the Jumanji sequel, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle — and it turns out The Rock loves Chris Young, too.
“Ok…. the new Jumanji movie is insanely good… Well done!!” the “Losing Sleep” hitmaker tweeted, tagging the star of the film, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
The movie star not only tweeted back, he took it one step further.
“Thank ya man. Glad you loved #JUMANJI as much as I did making it,” he said. “And for the record, ‘The Man I Want to Be” came along at the perfect time. Helped me get thru some tough times, but that’s for another conversation over tequila,” The Rock closed, adding a wink and a fist bump emoji.
Now, it sounds like Chris and The Rock will be getting together for some expensive tequila.
“Anytime man!” Chris responded. “I love that song… Don Julio 1942 on me…”
“The Man I Want to Be” hit #1 for Chris in 2009, and is the title track from his sophomore album.
Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is currently the #1 movie in America, and has earned over $700 million worldwide.
