ABC/Image Group LA This week, LANCO’s debut, Hallelujah Nights, emerges at #1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums ranking. Even more impressive, the five-man band is the first group to claim the top spot with their initial effort since Lady Antebellum did in 2008.
“Over the past five years we wanted to ride this dream as far as it would go and it’s hard to find the words to describe our debut record at the top of the chart,” lead singer Brandon Lancaster says. “We couldn’t be more grateful to see people gravitating towards these new songs that represent who we are, and it’s been wild to see these crowds sing every line back to us.”
LANCO’s currently performing their two-week number-one, “Greatest Love Story,” on Chris Young’s Losing Sleep World Tour. In May, they head out with Dierks Bentley and Brothers Osborne on the Mountain High trek.
