Allister AnnKenny Chesney already has some stadium shows booked for this year, but he’s now offering fans a more intimate experience. The superstar is bringing his unmatched live show to amphitheaters this spring and summer.
In a statement, Kenny says, “Nothing’s like the energy of a stadium show. But there’s also something about the amphitheaters, where the people are all so close. It’s like being with your friends somewhere back home, singing songs and hanging out, and having the best party of the year.”
He adds, “For us, it feels like the people are so right there, and the songs are driving the night. It’s an experience we know No Shoes Nation loves and misses when we don’t do it, so this year, we’re going to make sure there are plenty of opportunities to see us under the pavilion or out on the lawn.”
Kenny’s Trip Around the Sun tour kicks off with a stadium date April 21 in Tampa, Florida, but the amphitheater dates begin May 10 in Virginia Beach. Kenny will swap between stadiums and the smaller shows all through the summer, with Old Dominion opening. He’ll be supporting his Grammy-nominated album Cosmic Hallelujah.
