ABC/Image Group LAKelsea Ballerini traveled to Minneapolis for Super Bowl LII this weekend and her time was nothing short of magical. The singer, along with husband Morgan Evans, shared her whirlwind weekend in Minnesota where she partied with Jennifer Lopez, met the cast of This Is Us, and cheered on Justin Timberlake‘s halftime show performance.
In a series of videos posted to Twitter, captioned “Why I can’t be around famous people,” Kelsea gushed about being the biggest fan girl of This Is Us after spotting the cast at a tailgate party.
“I’ve commandeered Kelsea’s phone because I’ve never seen fan girling like this from Kelsea,” her Australian beau comments.
Eventually, Kelsea got the courage to introduce herself to This Is Us leading lady Mandy Moore and shared her encounter with fans: “I met Mandy Moore and I just went up to her and gave her a hug and said I love you.”
Kelsea’s fun-filled weekend also included attending a JLo concert and watching the game.
“Came for Timberlake, left with a new appreciation for the game,” she writes. “What a dang super bowl, and what a dang treat to be in the room.”
