“Say Something” pops up the chart as Chris Stapleton achieves crossover success

ABC/Image Group LAHaving already conquered the country charts, Chris Stapleton is now seeing his first major success on the pop charts.

According to Billboard, Chris has scored his first top 10 on the publication’s all-genre Hot 100 chart as “Say Something,” his duet with Justin Timberlake, reaches number nine.

This isn’t the first time the country singer has appeared on that chart, though. In November 2015, “Tennessee Whiskey” hit #20 following his performance of the song with JT at the CMA Awards.

“Say Something” also marks Chris’ first major pop radio airplay — the song has reached #20 on Billboard’s Adult Contemporary chart and #22 on its Adult Pop Songs chart.

While Chris’ pop radio success is just getting started, he’s going from strength to strength at country radio. This week, Grammy-winning star earns his highest career rank on Billboard‘s Country Airplay chart: His single “Broken Halos” is number nine.
