Love ’em or hate ’em, thanks to Maren and Kelsea, “Love Songs” are here to stay

Black River EntertainmentMaren Morris may have recently hit #1 with “I Could Use a Love Song,” but it sounds like Kelsea Ballerini may not feel exactly the same way.  Kelsea’s follow-up to her chart-topping “Legends” will be the track “I Hate Love Songs,” a song she first played on the Opry.

“I will never forget introducing ‘I Hate Love Songs’ at the Grand Ole Opry before my record was even out, and just the overwhelming feeling of magic,” Kelsea says. “I’d never experienced anything like that before with a song.”

“It’s sweet and sassy and I hope you love it as much as I do,” she adds.

Kelsea wrote “I Hate Love Songs” with producer Shane McAnally and Old Dominion’s Trevor Rosen.
