ABC/Kelsey McNealFlorida Georgia Line have broken yet another chart record, thanks to some help from pop star Bebe Rexha.
The country duo’s recent collaboration with Bebe on “Meant to Be” is currently at number-one on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart for the 14th week. According to Billboard, that breaks the record for the longest running #1 song with lead female vocals.
Little Big Town previously held the title: “Girl Crush,” sung by Karen Fairchild, notched the number-one spot for 13 weeks in 2015.
In addition to the country charts, “Meant to Be” is also seeing massive success in the pop world. It is currently at No. 7 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100 chart as well as No. 8 on the all-genre Radio Songs chart. This week, it enters the Pop Songs charts’ top 10 at number 10. Meanwhile, it ranks at number 11 on the Country Airplay chart.
FGL’s Tyler Hubbard penned the tune with Rexha, alongside Josh Miller and David Garcia.
