ABC/Image Group LABoth Maren Morris and Florida Georgia Line are enjoying some major momentum on the pop charts these days.
This week, FGL matches the crossover success of their debut smash, “Cruise,” as “Meant to Be” rises to #4 on the Billboard Hot 100. “Cruise,” which featured rapper Nelly, also made it to #4.
And thanks to the duo, their “Meant to Be” duet partner Bebe Rexha now has the biggest hit of her career to date.
But Maren isn’t far behind. “The Middle,” her song with producer/deejay Zedd and electronic duo Grey, rises to #6 on the Hot 100, and tops Billboard‘s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs for a seventh week. This is Maren’s first pop hit.
“Meant to Be” is also a top ten hit on the country chart, while “The Middle” hasn’t made its way to country radio.
