ABC/Image Group LA This weekend, Maren Morris will tie the knot with fellow artist Ryan Hurd in a ceremony that’s likely to be as casual and laid-back as the couple themselves.
While we don’t know a lot of the details about the wedding, Maren has been keeping her fans updated on her socials, revealing she was “writing vows and feeling sentimental AF” on Wednesday.
Even though she’s been busy working on her sophomore album and promoting her top ten pop hit, “The Middle,” with Zedd and Grey, the Texas native says the planning for the nuptials has gone surprisingly smoothly.
“Honestly, it’s been such an easy planning of all of it,” she tells ABC Radio, “and I can’t believe we were able to plan a wedding in the midst of all the touring that we do and the Grammys. It was just insane.”
Maren and Ryan got engaged in July of last year, and recently both starred in Maren’s forthcoming Western-themed video for “Rich.”
Even with all the career accomplishments she’s enjoyed in the past couple years, Maren expects nothing will compare to her wedding day.
“It’s gonna be the biggest day of my life, and our lives,” she adds. “And I just am so excited that I get to do all of this with my best friend. And so, I’m very excited about the wedding. And, yeah, it’s gonna be the coolest party ever I think that we ever throw,” she laughs.
