Is FGL’s latest hit “Meant to Be” #1 on the pop chart?

ABC/Kelsey McNealFlorida Georgia Line’s collaboration with Bebe Rexha is proving to be unstoppable on the pop chart. This week, “Meant to Be” is #2 on Billboard’s Hot 100, making it the highest-charting crossover tune in eight years.

Lady Antebellum was the most recent act to achieve such heights, making it to #2 in March of 2010 with “Need You Now.” FGL’s also no stranger to the top region of the pop chart:  They made it to #4 in 2013 with their debut single, “Cruise,” featuring rapper Nelly.

In fact, the pop success of “Meant to Be” is even outpacing its performance on the country airplay chart…but not by much. This week, FGL and Bebe are at #4 on the country tally.
