ABC/Randy HolmesA little more than a month ago, Cole Swindell was nervous about having to lip-sync his latest hit backwards for the video for “Break Up in the End.” While it’s not immediately evident if Cole is actually singing backwards in the clip, there’s certainly plenty happening in reverse.
“I’m excited for everyone to see the new video because it’s so different from any other video I have done,” the Georgia native tells Entertainment Tonight.
“I love how it begins with the end of a relationship and takes you back, in reverse, through all the times you spent together and ending with the first night you met. It was such a blast getting to work with everyone that was involved in it.”
You can check out “Break Up in the End” on YouTube, and there’s also an alternate version available on Spotify.
Next week, Cole wraps up his Reason to Drink Tour with Chris Janson and Lauren Alaina, with a stop in Los Angeles.
