ABC/Image Group LA Walker Hayes’ breakthrough top-ten hit, “You Broke Up with Me,” has just been certified platinum by the RIAA. Walker found out the good news Thursday, as he played New York City’s Playstation Theater.
“Still in shock from last night…” he tweeted Friday morning, along with a photo of him posing in front of the crowd with his official plaque.
Walker’s second single from his debut album, boom., is titled “Craig.” It tells the true story of a friend who helped Walker at a time he really needed it.
