ABC/Image Group LA We haven’t really seen much of Carrie Underwood since she hosted the CMA Awards at the beginning of last November. But now, that seems to be changing, at least on social media.
Friday, Carrie posted a photo showing her singing with her band. “Missed these guys,” she added, along with the hashtag #bandrhearsals. In the picture, Carrie’s clearly wailing, dressed in blue jeans, sneakers and a blue t-shirt, with her hair up.
Just a couple days earlier, the four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year shared a black-and-white snapshot of her working in the studio. Both photos mark a big change for Carrie, who’s avoided showing her face since she took a nasty fall at her home shortly after the CMAs, breaking her wrist and suffering a facial injury that required around 50 stitches.
While we do know Carrie’s been working on her new album for Universal Nashville, it’s not clear what her plans for performing are. Her last major tour was 2016’s spectacular Storyteller trek, which featured an in-the-round set-up and the most extensive staging she’s ever done.
As of now, Carrie’s next official date is June 8 at CMA Fest at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.
