River House Artists/Columbia NashvilleAlmost exactly a year after Luke Combs’ debut album came out, it’s getting the deluxe treatment.
The gold-certified This One’s for You was released on June 2, 2017, and on June 1 of this year, the cleverly-titled This One’s for You Too will arrive.
The deluxe incarnation adds five new tracks to the original set’s twelve, including “Must’ve Never Met You,” “Houston, We Got a Problem,” and “A Long Way.” Another track, “She Got the Best of Me,” is a fan favorite from Luke’s earlier, independently-released EPs. We’ll get our first taste of the new music on May 4, when the fifth new track, “Beautiful Crazy,” becomes available to stream or download.
The North Carolina says the album update is just his way of giving fans what they want, and expressing his gratitude.
“As a songwriter, I’m always writing and adding new songs to our set lists,” Luke explains. “Some songs I haven’t released have even become staples in our shows because the fans request them.”
“As we’re working on the next record,” he continues, “the deluxe gives me the chance to say thank you to the fans for supporting my debut album and share with them some of the new music they’ve fallen in love with on the road with us.”
Right now, Luke’s Don’t Tempt Me with a Good Time headlining tour rolls on, before he joins Jason Aldean’s High Noon Neon trek this summer.
