© Grand Ole Opry/Photo by Rachael Black If you’re coming to Nashville for CMA Fest this June, you’d might as well take in a performance of the Grand Ole Opry, too.
The world’s longest-running radio show is making that easy for you, kicking off CMA Fest early with two sets on Tuesday, June 5, at 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. CT. Carrie Underwood and Terri Clark will sing on both.
Even if you don’t spring for an Opry ticket, you can still check out a free performance by “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega” hitmaker Ashley McBryde on the Opry Plaza before the first show.
The Opry’s usual Friday and Saturday night performances continue the week of CMA Fest, with a special edition of Opry Country Classics Saturday afternoon at the Ryman. Larry Gatlin & the Gatlin Brothers and Country Music Hall-of-Famer Charley Pride will both be there.
Carrie Underwood happens to have an even earlier date with the Opry: she’ll celebrate her tenth anniversary as a member on May 11.
