Maren Morris goes back to the Bluebird to recreate “My Church” for new documentary

ABC/Image Group LA Long before Maren Morris‘s “My Church” became her breakthrough, top-ten, Grammy-winning hit, she debuted it at Music City’s revered Bluebird Cafe. Next week, she’ll recreate that moment for a new documentary about the famed Nashville hot spot — and you can be there too.

The Texas native will host a songwriters’ circle Thursday, May 17 at 6 p.m. CT at the cafe. Maren’s husband Ryan Hurd will join her, along with Jimmy Robbins and Laura Velz, who co-wrote her first solo #1, “I Could Use a Love Song.” Veltz also helped create Maren’s latest single, “Rich.”

Tickets for the show go on sale this Thursday at 8 a.m. CT, exclusively at BluebirdCafe.com. Proceeds from the show will go to the HEROES Fund, Maren’s charity that helps music and fine arts programs in public schools.
