Weather forces Jake Owen to cancel the opening weekend of his Life’s Whatcha Make It tour

Big Loud Life’s whatcha make it, but when you’re playing baseball stadiums, sometimes you get rained out.

That’s the situation Jake Owen finds himself in this weekend, as he’s been forced to postpone the first dates on his Life’s Whatcha Make It tour with Chris Janson and Jordan Davis

“Anyone who had planned for an awesome Fri and Sat night in Chattanooga and Augusta…I’m so sorry we have to reschedule because of the weather,” Jake tweeted around noon on Friday. “Tickets will still be good when we return.. I’m bummed. It was our opening weekend for the tour.”

As of now, the trek — which will mainly play minor league baseball stadiums — is set to resume June 1 in Solomons, Maryland.

Jake’s latest single, “I Was Jack (You Were Diane),” just broke into country’s top ten.
