CMA Fest goes to the dogs, as Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation sets up camp at Music City Center

ABC/Image Group LA For the third year in a row, Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation Foundation will be out in full force at CMA Fest next week in Nashville.

Every day from 11 until 3 p.m. CT, fans will be able to adopt shelter pets from the Nashville Humane Association at the MuttNation set-up inside Music City Center. Miranda’s mom, Bev, who helped co-found MuttNation, will pose for pictures with those who rescue an animal.

“MuttNation’s mission is to promote the adoption of shelter pets, spay & neuter, and to let everyone know why these things are so important,” Miranda says. “Since country music fans are the most passionate people out there, CMA Fest is a great place to accomplish these goals.”

“It’s the world’s best feeling when you make the perfect match between a rescue and a new owner,” she adds, “knowing it’s creating such an incredible bond that will grow deeper and stronger every day. It just fills my heart with happiness to be part of something so special.”

Over the past two years, MuttNation’s helped more than one hundred pets find new homes at CMA Fest. Miranda’s rescued eight dogs herself.

Even if you can’t make it to Nashville for CMA Fest, you can donate to MuttNation for a chance to win a special Epiphone guitar autographed by Miranda. You can check it out at CrowdRise.com/MuttNationGuitar.
