Listen now: Florida Georgia Line keeps it “Simple” with new single

BMLG RecordsThe follow-up to Florida Georgia Line‘s smash with Bebe Rexha, “Meant to Be,” isn’t complicated. In fact, it’s “Simple.”

Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley released “Simple,” the lead single from their fourth album, early Friday.

“Excited to share the next chapter of FGL that we’ve been working so hard on,” Brian says. “‘Simple’ is as simple as it gets — 4 chords and a lotta heart!”

Brian and Tyler helped co-write the uptempo song, which extols the virtues of uncomplicated love.

“We are always wanting to push our sound forward and never make the same record twice,” Tyler explains. “We feel like we’ve upped our game on this project as well.”

So far, we don’t know when FGL’s follow-up to Dig Your Roots will be released.

FGL is set to perform on the CMT Music Awards this coming Wednesday, before performing on the closing night of CMA Fest Sunday at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium.

“Simple” is available to stream or download now, and you can check out its new lyric video on YouTube
