ABC/Randy HolmesTaylor Swift co-wrote Sugarland‘s new single, “Babe,” with Train‘s Pat Monahan, and she contributes vocals to the tune, too. Now comes the news that she’s featured in the new video for the song, and we’ll get our first glimpse of it Wednesday night during the CMT Music Awards.
Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush are set to be presenters on the show, which airs live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena starting at 8 p.m. ET. The trailer for Sugarland and Taylor’s video version of “Babe” will premiere sometime during the three-hour telecast.
The duo will start the day — presumably minus Taylor — performing “Babe” as part of a special live segment on NBC’s Today show, from Blake Shelton‘s new Ole Red restaurant and bar in downtown Music City. Blake and Hoda Kotb will both be on hand for the feature that’s set to air in the 10 a.m. hour of the NBC show.
Sugarland’s reunion album, Bigger, comes out on Friday.
