Garth Brooks remembers “That Summer” by returning to Fan Fair X

ABC RadioMore than 20 years ago, in 1996, Garth Brooks made Fan Fair history, signing autographs for 23 hours straight in a marathon session with no breaks.  This year, he’s heading back to the scene of that milestone event.

This week at CMA Fest, he’ll return to Fan Fair X inside Nashville’s Music City Center for a special interview on the CMA Close Up Stage. The reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year will also take questions from fans during the session, which starts at 12:15 p.m. CT on Saturday.

Garth revealed his CMA Fest plans Monday night on the latest episode of Inside Studio G on Facebook.

Last year, he made a surprise appearance at the nightly concerts at Nissan Stadium — his first festival performance since 1998. Even though CMA Fest 2018 is just days away, some four-day passes to the main show each evening at the home of the Tennessee Titans still remain.

Admission to Fan Fair X is included with those tickets. It’ll cost you $10 per day separately, or $25 for a four-day Fan Fair X pass. You can find out more at CMAFest.com/tickets
