ABC/Randy HolmesSince Midland called their debut album On the Rocks, you can just think of this as ordering another round.
Mark Wystrach, Cameron Duddy, and Jess Carson headed back into the studio on Monday to start work on their sophomore album, alerting their fans to their plans via social media.
The trio also shared a picture of The Castle in Franklin, Tennessee — where they’re recording — as well as some short clips with producer Dann Huff and noted steel guitarist Paul Franklin. Both Huff and Franklin worked on Midland’s debut.
Midland’s first record came out on September 22 of last year, so they’re starting work on a new one before the first one has even been out a year. The third single from On the Rocks, “Burn Out,” just broke into the top 40.
