Ed Herrera/ABCThe annual CMA Fest TV special, hosted by Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini, returns to ABC on August 8 and now we’ve got more details on what we’ll see during the three-hour broadcast.
Those three hours will be stuffed with 29 performances by some of the biggest names in country music, including Lauren Alaina, Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Brothers Osborne, Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Sam Hunt, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban, among others.
In addition, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Midland, Keith Urban’s “Coming Home” duet partner Julia Michaels, Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce and Morgan Wallen will all make their CMA Fest television debuts.
The program, which airs from 8:00–11:00 p.m. EDT, marks the 15th straight year the annual festival has brought its fan experience to a national television audience. It was filmed in June during the 47th annual CMA Music Fest in Nashville, TN.
This is TR’s third year co-hosting the special, and Kelsea’s second.
