Maren Morris spills the tea on her new album, her Broadway dreams and motherhood

ABC/Image Group LA Maren Morris dreams of playing Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway, and the best advice she ever got was “Wear underwear at all times.” Those are just two of the tidbits the “Rich” hitmaker revealed in a Twitter question-and-answer session with her fans.

While passing the time on a long flight, Maren also shared a significant amount of info about her upcoming sophomore record. We can expect the lead single in a “couple months,” she says, and revealed that the album will also include two collaborations.

The follow-up to Hero will feature Maren’s favorite song she’s written so far, “a new one on my album about girls,” as well as a track titled “Gold Love” that she says was the most painstaking to write.

An inquisitive fan also wanted to know if Maren and husband Ryan Hurd are planning a family. “I literally have it blocked out on my calendar next year,” she replied.
