ABC RadioDierks Bentley will be hanging out with the likes of Jennifer Aniston, Whoopi Goldberg and John Stamos this Friday night, as he appears on the fourth annual WE Day special on ABC.
The event is “a celebration of young people making a difference,” and is put together by the WE organization, which encourages the next generation to effect positive change in the world.
Dierks performed his most recent #1, “Woman, Amen,” when the special was taped back in April, and says there’s no question his kids have positively impacted his life, going so far as to say he’d be “incomplete as a man” without them.
The Arizona native tells People his son Knox and daughters Jordan Catherine and Evalyn Day are likely “the greatest character builder” in his marriage to wife Cassidy, but adds they’re also pretty good on the road.
“They love traveling, touring,” Dierks says. “Whenever it’s possible, we just drag them out there. I feel like that’s my main job, really, is being a dad.”
You can watch for Dierks on the WE Day special starting at 8 p.m. ET this Friday on ABC. John Stamos hosts, with Will Ferrell, Cyndi Lauper, Dr. Phil, and Martin Sheen set to join him as well.
