BBR Music Group After a couple years of waiting, the debut self-titled EP from Runaway June will finally arrive next month, on September 7.
The five-song collection from Naomi Cooke, Hannah Mulholland and Jennifer Wayne will feature the trio’s current single, “Buy My Own Drinks,” as well as their hit “Wild West.” The digital EP also includes a cover of Dwight Yoakam’s top-five hit from 1993, “Fast as You,” which is a concert favorite.
“This is a group of songs that really expresses us as a band,” Naomi says. “We have been working on this project for two years and so many life changes have happened to us as people, and now more than ever we have songs that tell the stories of those moments.”
Next spring, Runaway June heads out on The Cry Pretty Tour 360 with Carrie Underwood.
