Loretta Lynn’s feeling better, and is ready to return to promote “Wouldn’t It Be Great”

Legacy RecordingsLoretta Lynn is feeling better and is ready to promote her new album, now set to be released on September 28. Wouldn’t It Be Great was delayed after the 86-year-old suffered a stroke in May of last year, and then broke her hip in January.

“This new record means so much to me,” Loretta says, “but this last year, I had to focus on my health and I decided to hold up the release.”

“I’m feelin’ good and look forward to it comin’ out,” she adds. “It was really important to me to be a part of it being released and I’m excited to celebrate with everybody!”

Like her Grammy-nominated 2016 release, Full Circle, the new project was recorded at Cash Cabin in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and was produced by Loretta’s daughter Patsy Lynn Russell and John Carter Cash, the only son of Johnny and June Carter Cash.
