Miranda Lambert is “happily single” and ready to reveal more on new Pistol Annies’ record

ABC/Image Group LA Miranda Lambert is “happily single,” she revealed in a new interview to promote the third album from Pistol Annies, which is due this fall.

Most recently, Miranda had been involved with Evan Felker of The Turnpike Troubadours, who joined her on her Bandwagon Tour with Little Big Town, which wrapped this weekend. Previously, she dated Americana artist Anderson East, following her high-profile divorce from Blake Shelton.

Miranda says you can expect a glimpse inside her personal life on her latest collaboration with Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley.

“Since our last record, we’ve had two divorces, a marriage, two babies and one on the way,” Miranda tells the Tennessean. “Now we’ve got two husbands, one single and happy, and I just feel like we live such crazy lives. That’s a lot of life to be lived in just five years between three women, and I feel like we’re just telling the story of what all of that is and doing it very honestly.”

The “Drowns the Whiskey” hitmaker freely admits she hasn’t exactly been lucky in love, but says it’s ultimately worth it.

“Love is a hard road sometimes and it’s been a roller-coaster ride for me,” she says, “but I’m definitely thankful for all the ups and downs because I’ve had some really good songs come out of it. You’ve got to take the bad parts and put them on paper and then move on to the happy parts.”

Next up for Miranda, she plays Dierks Bentley’s Seven Peaks Festival this weekend in Buena Vista, Colorado. So far, the exact date for the Pistol Annies’ new record hasn’t been revealed.
