ABC/Image Group LA Jason Aldean raised more than more than $620,000 for his hometown children’s hospital Thursday night at his third Concert for the Kids in Macon, Georgia. His fellow Peach State native — and current tour mate — Lauren Alaina opened the show.
“There is nothing better than coming back to your hometown for a great cause and Georgia really showed up last night,” Jason reflects. “Thanks to Lauren Alaina for helping set the tone, and with the community’s support over the last few years, we’ve been able to help build an entire new facility for these kids who really need it the most.”
In all, Jason’s raised close to $2 million for the Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital.
Friday night, Jason, Lauren and Luke Combs play a sold-out High Noon Neon show at Bridgestone Arena in their adopted hometown of Nashville.
