Capitol Nashville“Love Wins” was the second preview track Carrie Underwood released from her Cry Pretty album, following the top ten title cut. This week, the American Idol winner revealed the positive song will also be her new single.
“I really hope when people listen to it, they can feel inspired and feel hopeful,” Carrie says in a social media video about the song. “It’s so easy to get pulled down in negativity in this world, and I feel like there’s just a lot of things that it’s easy to get sad about or mad about.”
“But ‘Love Wins,’” she continues, “is just all about people helping each other. And it’s about humans trying to understand each other and learn from each other, and at the end of the day, loving each other.”
