Listen now: Dolly’s Dumplin’ duet with pop star Sia

ABC/Lou RoccoThe first taste of Dolly Parton‘s new music from the film Dumplin’ is out now: It’s a remake of a 1971 cut from the Coat of Many Colors album with pop star Sia.

“Well I sure am proud to share the first single from the Dumplin’ soundtrack with y’all!” Dolly tweeted on Friday.

“I re-recorded ‘Here I Am’ with the incredible Sia and I sure do hope you love it,” she added.

Sia and Dolly trade verses and sing on the chorus: “Here I am, I’m reaching out to give you love that you’re without/I can help you find what you’ve been searching for/Here I am, come to me, take my hand because I believe/I can give you all the love you need and more.”

The Dumplin’ Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is set to arrive November 30 and will feature collaborations with the likes of Miranda LambertAlison KraussMavis Staples and more on some of Dolly’s biggest hits. It’ll also boast six new tunes co-written with super-producer Linda Perry.

Dumplin’ will premiere on Netflix sometime this year. In the movie, Danielle Macdonald plays a plus-size teen who takes inspiration from Dolly’s music as she rebels against the beauty-pageant culture embraced by her mother.

Jennifer Aniston plays Dumplin’s mom and is one of the film’s executive producers as well. Both Aniston and Macdonald appear on the soundtrack, too.
