The Connecticut newspaper reports that the “Redneck Woman” singer appeared in Superior Court last Thursday, and she’s been ordered to make a $500 charitable contribution to the state’s criminal injuries compensation fund.
The donation follows a charge of breach of peace related to an incident at Bradley International Airport last month. Her charge will be dropped in 13 months as part of her deal with the state, the paper confirms.
In August, the singer was charged following an altercation at the airport. According to a police report, troopers were dispatched after Gretchen had been “causing problems related to a passenger in a plane bathroom.”
When Connecticut State Police interviewed the 2005 CMA Female Vocalist of the Year at Bradley International Airport, she allegedly “became belligerent” and “caused a disturbance.” She was then taken into custody and released on $1,000 bail.
