Luke Combs marks a “Billboard” “Best” with his latest #1

ABC/Mark LevineLuke Combs sets a new record this week, as his latest hit, “She Got the Best of Me,” ascends to the top of Billboard’s Country Airplay chart: Luke’s the first solo artist to send his first four releases to #1 since the chart’s beginning in 1990.

The North Carolina native’s impressive run started with “Hurricane” in May of last year, continuing with “When It Rains It Pours” and “One Number Away.”

“She Got the Best of Me” also happens to be the fastest-rising song of Luke’s career, making it to #1 in only 16 weeks.

The new feat puts Luke in some pretty impressive company: both Florida Georgia Line and Brooks & Dunn  went to #1 with their first four singles as well.
