The GreenRoomDierks Bentley will reunite with his 2017 What the Hell Tour partner Jon Pardi for his 2019 trek, and his nineties cover band, Hot Country Knights, will also officially join the bill for the first time ever. Newcomer Tenille Townes completes the lineup for the 2019 Burning Man Tour.
“I talked to Jon Pardi last April about the idea of going back on the road together one last time,” Dierks explains, “and I am so happy that I can finally let our fans in on this…We cannot wait to get back on the road!”
The Dierks-led Hot Country Knights will play their first official show January 17 when the run kicks off in Hamilton, Ontario. The tour announcement makes it clear, however, that Dierks’ won’t be blowing the cover of his alter-ego.
“Our hardcore fans are aware of the ’90s country cover band, the Hot Country Knights, who have been following us around and opening shows,” he says. “They talked us into having them on the actual billing for this tour… hope their van has snow tires for Canada!”
The trek takes its name from Dierks’ current top twenty hit, “Burning Man,” which features his 2018 tour partners, Brothers Osborne.
