Walker Hayes impresses Shania Twain with his “90’s Country” cover

MonumentShania Twain just made all of Walker Hayes’ “90’s Country” dreams come true.

Walker’s been promoting his new single by re-creating some of the iconic album covers by the artists he namechecks in the song. He started by modeling the headwear John Michael Montgomery sports on the cover of his 1995 self-titled album with “Sold (The Grundy County Auction)” on it.

“This hat’s making me feel like 90’s country…” Walker commented, along with a side-by-side comparison.

Next, Walker donned a red shirt and put his hands behind head, a la Shania’s 1997 Come On Over album.

“Saved the best for last…” Walker added.

“You need more lipstick,” Shania commented, with the blowing-a-kiss emoji.

“No. Way.” Walker reacted in apparent shock, as he retweeted Shania’s reply.
