ABC/Image Group LA Carrie Underwood’s husband Mike Fisher has made a new video that highlights the one sore spot in their otherwise idyllic marriage: She’s a devoted vegan, while he loves to hunt.
In that spirit, he’s remade his wife’s chart-topping hit from 2006, “Before He Cheats,” and turned it into “Before She Bleats.” A bleat is the sound a female deer makes during mating season.
“Right now he’s probably out grazing with a corn-fed doe and it’s probably getting frisky,” the hockey star sings in the parody. “Maybe next time she’ll think before she bleats.”
“I’d like to thank all the people that helped make this dream come true,” Mikes jokes on Instagram. “It’s been a long time coming but excited to share my heart and soul through this song.”
In addition to being a playful jab at his wife, Mike’s musical foray is also a promotion for Catchin’ Deers, his brand of hunting-themed apparel.
Carrie’s currently expecting the couple’s second child. Next week, she hosts the CMA Awards for the eleventh time with Brad Paisley. You can check out the show Wednesday, November 14 starting at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
