ABC/Image Group LA Trisha Yearwood’s new album of Frank Sinatra covers, cleverly titled Let’s Be Frank, will be available December 20 through Williams Sonoma.
“I’ve been wanting to make this record for 20 years!” the two-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year tells People. “I have always loved standards, and nobody sings them better than Sinatra.”
“I’m honored to get the chance to pay tribute to him and the songwriters in these timeless classics,” she adds.
This isn’t the first time Trisha’s tackled a Sinatra tune. Three years ago, she sang the classic “I’ll Be Seeing You” on CBS’s Sinatra 100 — An All-Star Grammy Concert special.
The Georgia native recorded her first all-new project since 2007 at the iconic Capitol Records building in Hollywood, where Ol’ Blue Eyes himself created the originals. Trisha even used the same microphone and stool Sinatra used as she sang with the orchestra.
Earlier this week, Trisha teased the project by sharing pieces of the sexy cover photo on her socials.
You’ll be able to get Let’s Be Frank December 20 at Williams Sonoma, along with Trisha’s line of culinary products, before it become widely available in February.
