PR NewswireZac Brown Band collaborated with their recent CMT Crossroads partner, pop star Shawn Mendes, to write their new single, “Someone I Used to Know.”
“It’s been a long time coming/Couldn’t keep on running/Had to hit rock bottom to know,” Zac sings on the new tune. “When you keep on losing/With the path you’re choosing/Then it’s time to let go/Of someone that I used to know.”
ZBB is set to perform “Someone I Used to Know” for the first time Friday on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. You can tune in to watch starting at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC.
The eight-piece band is also extending their Down the Rabbit Hole Live Tour, adding a 2019 leg to the trek.
“This is an exciting time for us and we can’t wait to get back out on the road and play for our fans next spring,” Zac says. “In the meantime, we’re hard at work in the studio and really proud of ‘Someone I Used To Know.’”
“It’s a special track and is just the beginning,” he adds. “There’s a lot more to come.”
Pre-sales for the band’s new dates start next Wednesday, before tickets become available to the general public on Friday.
