ABC/Craig SjodinJourneys of Faith, a podcast hosted by ABC’s Paula Faris, debuts its first three episodes Wednesday, November 14.
Faris takes an intimate look at how some of the world’s most influential people lean on faith and spirituality to guide them through the best and worst of times. Among Faris’ early podcast guests are Lady Antebellum‘s Hillary Scott, as well as Luke Bryan, both of whom share their thoughts on life and faith.
“As beautiful as this world is, it’s broken,” says Hillary. “And the hope in heaven is that there is no more brokenness, there is no more sickness, there is no more suffering. It’s all — good.”
For Luke, one of the biggest questions is why bad things happen to good people.
“Me and my family have countless times, you know, sat around and wondered what the heck is God doing?” says Luke, whose brother and sister both died unexpectedly. “Why are we the ones that, you know…right when it seems like we’ve got our footing under us, the rug gets pulled out?”
