Curb RecordsDylan Scott returns to country radio with a new, feel-good single called “Nothing To Do Town.”
The singer co-wrote the song with John Taylor and Matt Alderman, and in it, he sings about a small town that’s “a little town square /middle of nowhere /ain’t even big enough to be a map dot.”
“I’m really excited about the release of my new single ‘Nothing To Do Town,'” Dylan said in a statement. “Growing up in a very small town in Northeast Louisiana, we had to create our own entertainment since we didn’t have malls or movie theaters. That is what this song is all about and I wouldn’t trade the way I grew up for anything.”
He adds, “I know there are going to be a lot of people who hear the song and feel the same way I do.”
With soaring guitar parts, a thumping beat and Dylan’s vivid lyrics, “Nothing To Do Town” paints the picture of small town living. The song follows the success of his top 5 single “Hooked” and number-one hit “My Girl.”
