ABC/Image Group LAThe holiday season is officially upon us and Faith Hill has shared some of her holiday must-haves on a recent episode of Pickler & Ben. Faith, an executive producer of the show, also related a heartfelt story about one of her favorite holiday memories with her father.
Faith’s father is 88 and she describes him as a “salt-of-the-earth kind of man.” The two have always made each other laugh over the years, and she filmed a video of one of those instances.
“I made him a banana sandwich and he fell asleep while he was eating the sandwich,” she recalls with a laugh. “He didn’t believe me that he had done that so I had to show him a picture of him falling asleep with the sandwich. Then we started laughing so hard…this went on for over three minutes. It was just the giggles.”
After airing a clip of the video of her dad chuckling, Faith noted, “If we can have that kind of laughter every day, it just makes us feel good.”
She then shared several of her favorite things with viewers including True Grit holiday sweaters, a Blenko Double Spouted Pitcher and an item from Kimberly Schlapman‘s line of cookware.
The Little Big Town member was so delighted Faith loved her Oh Gussie Stoneware Batter Bowl that she shared a special video message in which she explained that the bowl was designed by her dad, who’s a potter.
“Thank you @faithhill for choosing this #pawpawpottery mixing bowl as one of your favorite things! I hope this brings joy into your homes this holiday season,” Kimberly shares on Instagram.
