ABC/Image Group LA Clint Black was Looking for Christmas on his 1995 holiday album, and now he’s found it — and a whole lot more — on his new holiday offering.
The Clint Black Christmas Collection includes songs from his first yuletide project, as well as tunes written for his new musical, also called Looking for Christmas.
Clint’s wife, Lisa Hartman Black, joins him on “The Finest Gift,” while their daughter, Lily Pearl, makes her recording debut on “Magical Christmas.” “The Kid” was co-written by the late Merle Haggard.
“In writing the first album… I learned where our centuries old traditions came from, and I knew I would have to continue writing songs to help grow the collection,” Clint says. “This year, I’m thrilled to share even more new songs, including those from my holiday musical… and those featuring my lovely wife and daughter.”
Looking for Christmas is currently playing in San Diego, ahead of its tour that will launch next year.
The Clint Black Christmas Collection is available now.
