ABC/Image Group LALuke Combs has announced that he’s engaged to his girlfriend Nicole Hocking — but apparently, the proposal happened some time back.
Luke posted a photo of himself and Nicole on vacation in Hawaii, and captioned it, “She said yes a while ago but this is a much better place to take pictures than the kitchen. Can’t wait to spend forever with you! I love you!”
Nicole shared the same photo, and wrote, “You’re stuck with me forever! I love you sooo much babe.”
The bride-to-be shared a photo of her ring on her Instagram story, along with the caption, “So in love.” She also shared messages from friends and family.
One family member wrote, “Biggest secret I’ve ever had to keep!” Two friends sent a video of themselves shotgunning beer in honor of the happy news, while two more sent Nicole an electronic payment of $20, and told her to “buy yourself a round on us.”
Prior to this, the biggest moment of Luke’s 2018 had been winning the CMA New Artist of the Year trophy.
