ABC/Image Group LA Last Christmas, one of the most famous groups of carolers ever to hit a doorstep set out to serenade Nashville, complete with Dickens-era costumes. Pals Thomas Rhett, Russell Dickerson and Florida Georgia Line‘s Tyler Hubbard were among the A-list carolers, along with their wives.
So is there any chance they’ll again be spreading a little Christmas cheer in 2018?
“Very, very, very likely!” Russell tells ABC Radio. “We may or may not already be planning our route this year.”
The “Blue Tacoma” hitmaker confesses last year’s stroke of genius was completely impromptu.
“Last year was super-spontaneous,” Russell recalls. “We were just like, ‘Hey, it’d be fun to go caroling.’ We ordered stupid, crazy Christmas carolers suits on Amazon, and we got a driver and we just went. We had no plan.”
Even though they’ve already been talking about it, Russell expects this year’s excursion may very well come together at the last minute.
“I don’t know if we’re even gonna plan this year,” he admits. “We’re just gonna do the same thing. And it was such a blast. And we may get a little video, like, to actually capture it this year. It’s gonna be fun.”
For now, you can relive last year’s session via Instagram, courtesy of a security camera at fellow artist RaeLynn‘s house.
