ABC/Image Group LARussell Dickerson warned it would likely happen again this year, and earlier this week, the #CountryCarolers hit the streets of Nashville, though the only evidence so far is a Boomerang on Instagram showing them standing in front of a fireplace.
Russell, Thomas Rhett, and Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard started the tradition in 2017, along with their wives Kailey, Lauren and Hayley, respectively. After ordering Dickensian costumes from Amazon, the troupe showed up on the doorsteps of some of their Nashville friends. Fellow artist RaeLynn caught some of their caroling, thanks to her security camera, and shared it on her socials.
For 2018, the #CountryCarolers added a new friend, dressed as a Christmas tree.
“THE BEST WAY TO SPREAD CHRISTMAS CHEER IS SINGING LOUD FOR ALL TO HEAR!!” Russell’s wife Kailey posted, quoting the holiday classic, Elf. “#CountryCarolers is my new favorite tradition!”
While we haven’t seen the #CountryCarolers in action yet, it’s likely coming: Russell also told ABC Radio the pals were planning to shoot some video this year.
