Courtesy CMASure, Dustin Lynch is taking some time off for the holidays but he won’t exactly be twiddling his thumbs. He plans to work a little, spend some time with his family, and take a major trip or two.
“I will have a little time off, and I think this time around I’ll be recording some, no doubt,” the Tullahoma, Tennessee native explains. “So I’m looking forward to that. I’ve got another big trip planned to Indonesia this year.”
Exotic trips over the Christmas holidays are becoming a tradition for Dustin. Last year, he visited Vietnam and Thailand before heading to Mexico for Luke Bryan‘s yearly getaway vacation with the fans. In 2018, he has something similar planned.
“We’ve decided if we don’t miss a year, then we can’t miss a year, right?” Dustin asks. “If we miss a year, then there’s always gonna be the excuse. So me and a couple buddies from college are gonna go to Indonesia and goof off for a little bit, in between recording and being a pirate down at Crash My Playa with Luke.”
On Saturday, you can see Dustin singing “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” as CMA Country Christmas re-airs on ABC, starting at 8 p.m. ET.
