ABC/Image Group LAScotty McCreery and his wife Gabi are hearing the pitter-patter of little feet. But it’s not a baby for the newlyweds — it’s a puppy!
Scotty and Gabi introduced the world to their new addition this weekend.
“Today is a big day for the McCreery family!” Scotty tweeted, before sharing a photo of Gabi and the golden-colored pup on Instagram, along with the caption, “My whole world. Everyone, meet Moose!”
Gabi offered a picture of the whole family, joking, “2019 is off to a ruff start. WELCOME HOME MOOSE!”
It looks like Moose is poised to be a social media star, just like Brett Eldredge’s pup Edgar and Chris Young’s dog Porter. You can follow him as MooseMcCreery on Instagram.
His first posts show Scotty holding Moose behind the wheel of his Ford pickup, with the line “When Daddy let me drive,” a reference to the Alan Jackson hit, “Drive (For Daddy Gene).”
It also sounds like Moose may be keeping Scotty and Gabi up at night.
“Sleeping at night is for the birds!” reads the caption of a photo of Gabi and the dog taking a nap.
“This Is It,” the song Scotty wrote about proposing to Gabi, is currently in country’s top ten. The two tied the knot last June in their home state of North Carolina.
