Kenny Chesney adds a second show in D.C. after his Songs for the Saints stop sells out

Allister AnnKenny Chesney’s Washington, D.C. stop on his Songs for the Saints Tour is sold out, so the country superstar is adding another date.

The “Better Boat” hitmaker initially only planned to play the nation’s capital on Thursday, April 18; now, he’ll take the stage at The Anthem that Friday as well.

Pre-sales for the new show start this Friday; tickets become available to the general public the next Friday, January 18.

Kenny typically spends his summers playing huge stadium concerts for his fans, but in 2019, he’s opted for a more intimate experience, playing smaller venues to support his Songs for the Saints album. He’s giving all his proceeds from the record to help hurricane victims in the Virgin Islands, his home-away-from-home.
